Theo Vanriet has been appointed managing director Vanriet UK, taking over from Paul Farmery, who will retire during 2011.
The company designs, manufactures and installs material handling systems from their UK factory in Tamworth. Vanriet has already assumed day to day control of the UK operation, supported by Farmery and the established management team.
Theo Vanriet is the son of the firm’s founder and is also responsible for Vanriet UK’s sister company in The Netherlands, Rohaco BV, which provides end of line handling products based on arm and gantry robots.
Vanriet UK operates autonomously from the Vanriet Group in the Netherlands.
