Kimberly-Clark Eastern Europe has agreed a partnership agreement with OmPrompt to support growth across Eastern European.
Supply-chain connectivity firm OmPrompt has worked with Kimberly-Clark Europe for more than two years when they were introduced to the company’s operations in Russia. It now supports Kimberly-Clark’s ten warehouses in the country.
Since the recession, Eastern Europe has returned to strong growth and Kimberly-Clark now intends to roll out operations across the Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Peter Surtees, director of consumer logistics, Kimberly-Clark Europe, said: “We were confident that OmPrompt could meet the challenge for speed, efficiency and economy in automating communications with the extended supply chain in Russia. OmPrompt had already given us more efficient e-relationships with all of our logistics service providers, allowing us to focus our IT resources on customer-facing issues.”
OmPrompt conducted a study of Kimberly-Clark’s Moscow supply chain process, which culminated in the blueprint for the Connected Enterprise.
