IT company Imtech is launching its logistics software for UK customers.
The UK arm of Imtech will now offer its LBASE TMS and WMS in traditional hardware / software form and as Software as a Service. There is also a parcel and courier system called cargoNET.
LBASE has been used across Europe by mendium and large companies such as Swiss Post, Panalpina, DHL and Logwin. Based in Gouda in The Netherlands, the group employs 25,000 staff and achieves annual revenues of over 4.3 billion Euros across Europe.
The system was developed by the Austrian TMS/WMS specialist Transflow which was acquired by the Imtech group in 2008. As part of a reorganisation, Transflow will become Imtech ICT Logistics Software from 1st January 2011.
