Long-time Volvo operator Knowles Transport of March, Cambridgeshire has ordered 26 new Volvo FH-460 6×2 GTXL trucks.

All the new trucks are fitted with Dynafleet and the rest of the Knowles fleet are being retro-fitted in turn, with 40 scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
Knowles reckons that so far its investment in Volvo’s Dynafleet telematics system has already made a significant return on the investment.
Tony Knowles, managing director, said: “The secret to getting the best out of any truck is bringing together the manufacturer and the dealer, the operator, and last, but by no means least, the driver… An improvement of 0.8mpg is typical and that’s an impressive percentage gain across the fleet.”
