Garden centre company Notcutts’ plans for a 100,000 sq ft distribution warehouse near, Woodbridge in Suffolk has sparked an angry NIMBY backlash.
Residents in Ufford where Notcutts wishes to build the warehouse on land that it already owns, have formed the Ufford Action Group to fight the proposals, which they claim is overdevelopment and against several planning policies.
The garden retailer says the warehouse is vital for the future of its business.
