Ceva has signed a three-year renewal, worth 2.5 million euro (£2.2m) per year with household appliance manufacturer Miele in Italy.
The logistics operator will handle inbound logistics, warehousing activities, preparation of orders and national distribution for Miele. Following the acquisition of technical courier Spedimac in 2008, Ceva will now offer special deliveries, as well as standard home deliveries.
Some 120,000 Miele items will be processed every year through Ceva’s warehouse at Pognano, near Bergamo, where 9,000 sq m is dedicated to Miele products.
Ceva has worked with Miele since 1999.
