Ryder Europe is investing £1.8 million in improvements to its rental depots, maintenance workshops and accounting centre.
It is upgrading the rental and service reception facilities and car parking facilities at several of its facilities, following the launch of its retail maintenance service in the UK.
Ryder had previously only maintained its own vehicles, and customer vehicles on account. As part of the retail maintenance service, Ryder is opening its workshops and range of maintenance services to any commercial vehicle on a “pay-as-you-go” basis.
The investment will also cover upgrading Ryder’s bulk fuel storage tanks, introducing drainage interceptors and full retention separators and improving yard surfaces across the estate.
