Norbert Dentressangle has completed that takeover of Schneider Logistics International’s freight forwarding activity in the United States and China.
The acquisition includes two operations centres in Tianjin and Shanghai, China and seven in the US cities of Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Diego, and San Francisco.
Norbert now estimates its freight forwarding activity to be worth some 30 million euros in annual sales with 17 locations across Europe, North America and Asia.
Chief executive officer François Bertreau said: “With this transaction… we have gained a foothold in the United States and Asia, two key world regions for international trade.”
