Barclays Corporate Asset Finance has confirmed it will provide funding for Eddie Stobart to make a £5 million investment in its trailer fleet.
The investment includes two deals for skeletal and curtain-sided trailers, amounting to 265 units at a cost over £5 million. The deal was arranged by Barclays Corporate Asset Finance in Manchester led by Stirling Hulme, regional sales director.
Stobart operates from over 40 sites across the UK and into continental Europe and Ireland. Its fleet totals some 1,850 tractor units, and it has over six million square feet of warehousing.
