Ventura is new country manager for Damco
Damco has appointed Alain Ventura as its Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore.
In the new role, Ventura will be responsible for all aspects of the logistics and freight forwarding business in Malaysia and Singapore. Based in Singapore, he will report to Tony Hotine, chief executive officer for the Asia Pacific region.
Ventura joins Damco with some 20 years of logistics experience, having worked in Asia, Europe and the US in different management positions.
Kratzer appoints business solutions manager
Kratzer Automation has appointed Peter Phillips as UK business solutions manager for its logistics automation division.
Phillips has many years experience in the industry, most recently as solutions consultant at Cognito. He has also been pre-sales and implementation manager of automation software and mobile devices in the transport and logistics sector.
In the new role Phillips will oversee the implementation of the cadis integrated transport management system for UK clients.
Navman takes on technical and pre-sales executive
Navman Wireless, a manufacturer of vehicle tracking equipment, has appointed Haydon Davis as technical and pre-sales executive to liaise between fleet operators and R&D technicians.
In the new position, Davis will develop areas such as engine management and legislative compliance reports, and liaise with businesses that have specific technical requirements.
