Banana supplier Pratt’s has chosen Isotrak’s Active Transport Management System (ATMS) to provide vehicle tracking and route optimisation.
A number of Pratt’s tractor vehicles are using ATMS, encompassing plan v actual, driver style management including vehicle tracking, driver style module, driver communications, hours of service, state fuel tax reporting, driver terminals, resource management, MDT units for messaging and Canbus Cancliq software.
S H Pratt supplies UK retailers with bananas from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
Managing director Robert Wells said: “With greater pressure to both meet ever tighter delivery windows at supermarket RDC’s and achieving greater economies operating a fleet, we felt the need to improve on information re fleet visibility and driver/ vehicle management. Isotrak will provide us with the tools to drive these improvements forward with the resultant increases in SLA compliance, decreases in cost and a consequential reduction in our carbon footprint.”
