Mitchells of Mansfield, the family-owned logistics firm, has entered its third generation with the arrival of Tom Mitchell, grandson of Robert Mitchell, who set up the company in 1968.
The company is based in Sutton in Ashfield and has been headed by Robert’s son Andy who became managing director 12 years ago. Andy’s 18 year-old son Tom will learn about all aspects of the family business. Mitchell’s is a long-standing member of the Palletways network.
