Kiaba named Eastern Europe director at Ceva
Ceva Logistics has appointed Martin Kiaba director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Kiaba will report to Ceva’s regional director of Eastern Europe, Matthias Heimbach, and will be involved in the development of Ceva’s business and operations excellence programme in the region.
Kiaba joins from Gefco Slovakia, where he has worked since 2006 and was responsible for four divisions: logistics, air and ocean, road transportation and Gefbox, a returnable packaging material.
He has had 15 years of logistics and commercial experience in senior roles within the supply chain industry.
Seafield takes on Measey as new general manager
Seafield Logistics has named Dave Measey general manager – logistics services.
Measey has 21 years of experience in the industry, having begun as a lorry driver. His management career has involved managing customer relationships within several industry sectors from steel to food.
He has developed a dedicated re-work division and implemented the BRC accreditation and a vehicle tracking and utilisation scheme.
In the new role Measey will be responsible for leading an internal Seafield team to deliver better customer service.
Priority Freight hires McGill
Priority Freight has appointed Tom McGill director, business development.
McGill has held management positions at TNT, LYNX, Ryder, Exel and Target Express, as well as at technology companies i2 and Casio.
His will be tasked with scaling up the firm’s internal sales processes and handling existing key accounts.
