New head of operations
Geodis Calberson has hired Chris Turner as head of operations – logistics. Turner has extensive experience of the industry, having worked for DHL, Kuehne + Nagel and DB Schenker.
Damco country chief
Damco has appointed Alain Ventura as its country manager for Malaysia and Singapore. He will report to Tony Hotine, chief executive officer for the Asia Pacific region.
E-commerce supremo
Electrocomponents, has hired Keith Reville as its new general manager of e-commerce. He joins from Orange UK where he was director of online sales.
Dunstan joins Wincanton
Andrea Dunstan has become Wincanton’s group human resources director. She joins from AstraZeneca where she held a number of senior human resources roles.
Virgin vice presidents
Virgin Atlantic Cargo has appointed Nick Jones regional vice president EMEA. He has spent the past three years with Emirates. James Williams has taken up the post of regional vice president, Americas, while Dominic Jones is now regional vice president, Asia Pacific.
Hellmann hires Grace
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK has taken on Nigel Grace as its business analyst at its hub in Lichfield.
Manship promoted
Swisslog UK has promoted Andrew Manship to managing director and head of its Europe2 region. He will oversee the business units in Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.
