Global logistics company UTi has taken on RedPrairie’s WMS at its Azuqueca de Henares site in Guadalajara, Spain.
The WMS gives full traceability of products from despatch to final delivery and that all serial numbers are recorded for security. It will allow UTi to integrate additional clients within its supply chain operations.
The system was installed by RedPrairie’s Spanish partner Alfaland Sistemas, the systems division of the Alfaland Group.
RedPrairie’s managing director and president international, Martin Hiscox said: “With over ten years experience implementing our WMS, Alfaland has delivered a successful solution allowing UTi to take their business to the next level.”
UTi delivers logistics and value added services from 20 distribution centres and employs 759 people across its Spanish network.
