European storage equipment manufacturer, Constructor Group, has unveiled its new distribution hub at Swindon.
The hub now forms the primary site for the group’s UK operations, housing its design team, distributor sales, project management and all key support functions
Thje site is capable of stocking more than 1,000 lines of varying stock items, valued at some £5.5m and will be operated by a combined warehouse and logistics team of 12 personnel. There is also an assembly facility for the in-house construction of shelving end frames prior to delivery to customers requiring this service.
The hub is fitted with Dexion’s P90 silver I-Tox beams, Premierack and Cantilever racking and operated using a fleet of six forklift trucks including a CombiliLift, reach trucks and counter balance trucks.
