Caledonian Logistics has delivery of £1.6 million of MAN tractor and middleweight units.
Most of the vehicles are fleet replacements for the Aberdeen company that mainly distributes palletised freight.
The new fleet comprises 12 TGX 26.440BLS 6×2 tractors, two 26.540BLS 6×2 tractor units and nine TGM 18.250 BL 4×2 18 tonners with MAN Bodyline curtain-sided bodywork.
The 540bhp units were acquired on two-year MAN contract hire packages, with the 440s and the 18 tonners on four year agreements.
The 540bhp TGXs are running on Caledonian’s daily Aberdeen-Lichfield operation, covering 4,500 miles per week.
