Port operator DP World is rolling out a carbon management and reduction system from Greenstone Carbon Management and The Carbon Neutral Company.
It has invested in data collection systems across 50 marine terminals worldwide, and now it has commissioned Greenstone to install its Acco2unt software which is designed to enable organisations to measure, manage, plan, store and report emission data, track performance on their carbon footprint.
The move is part of the company’s initiative to reduce its carbon emissions by 27 per cent over five years, which began in 2008.
