Damco has hired Charles van der Steene as chief operations officer for Europe based in Rotterdam.
“We have been very thorough in identifying the right person, as we understand the implications it has on our customers,” said Kim Hedegaard Sørensen, Chief Executive Officer of Damco Europe.
Van der Steene is a Dutch national and has worked for Danzas AEI and Panalpina most recently as managing director of the Panalpina Benelux Area.
