The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport is launching a regional group within the Benelux area.
The group is holding its inaugural event on 8th February in the Netherlands. Speakers will include institute chief executive, Steve Agg, and Edwin van der Meerendonk, vice president of European operations at Walt Disney.
The event will focus on subjects such as how the Netherlands plans to maintain its pivotal role in European logistics, how the private sector combines with academia to drive logistics innovation, and will examine the substance behind cross chain control centres.
The event will provide an introduction to the CILT(UK) in the Benelux region as well as the Dutch Institute of Advanced Logistics (Dinalog), as a newly formed institute, to promote research and development in logistics and the supply chain in the Netherlands.
