IT service provider Linetex has awarded a distribution contract to ByBox.
Under the contract Linetex will have access to ByBox’s network of over 18,000 drop-boxes at 1,350 locations across the UK to facilitate its support service to clients such as McDonald’s, Ted Baker and Paul Smith.
Linetex has over 2,000 parts a month moving through the system,
Warehouse and distribution manager Martin Young said: “As an in-night distribution service, ByBox is second to none. Its locker system is very effective and more importantly we know that parts are going to be there when we need them.
“Furthermore the fact that all our engineers can carry keys to each lock box means that if we have an engineer off sick we can send another engineer to pick up his parts. It gives us a bit of resilience and means we can always meet our obligations to our clients.”
