The fastback is Cartwright’s latest generation Cheetah trailer, which has enhanced side skirts and has an aerodynamic design that it says allows a 10 per cent fuel saving.
Brian Wheadon, Yodel’s support services director, said: “To put the Yodel brand on the road, we wanted a trailer that uses the latest aerodynamic technology and complemented our thinking for the environment.”
This is Yodel’s first order for trailers, since it was created after Home Delivery Network purchased the domestic B2B and B2C businesses of DHL Express (UK).
