Mazda has awarded a 6m euro three year contract to Ceva to manage distribution of aftermarket vehicle parts around the UK.
The parts will be delivered via Ceva’s shared user automotive network and is expected to cut miles travelled by 18 per cent. Parts are distributed from Mazda’s national distribution centre at Staplehurst, Kent and delivered through the night to 140 UK locations for over 180 dealerships, five nights a week.
Manu Saels, Mazda’s European operations manager, said: “By working in true partnership with CEVA we have implemented a solution which will improve cost-efficiency and deliver higher service levels, fully meeting the needs of the Mazda dealerships.”
