Motor industry supplier Rehau has chosen Kuehne + Nagel for a production logistics project which encompasses the fabrication of up to 39 different variants of bumpers.
In addition to assembly, Kuehne + Nagel will provide warehousing and packaging of spare parts. To implement the project Kuehne + Nagel first needed to transport more than 20 production machines into its site at Straubing in Bavaria. After assembly the spare parts are stored in the warehouse, to be available on demand for the car manufacturers.
