Fruit producer Spring Valley has awarded the contract to handle traffic between South Africa and the UK to Gist.
Prepared fruit from South Africa will go directly into Gist’s chilled transport and warehouse network for delivery into retail stores.
The process is temperature-controlled throughout from the processing operation to the airport, in the air and onboard vehicles from the airport and to stores.
