Stokvis Tapes has awarded the contract for the distribution of adhesive products to Norbert Dentressangle.
The firm had previously dispatched individual orders via a parcel carrier, but will now use ND’s national shared-user pallet network.
Manager Sally Farmer said: “As well as reducing costs, the new shared-user operation improves our overall supply chain service to customers.”
Stokvis is an adhesive tape and foam specialist owned by ITW and part of The Performance Polymers Group.
Stokvis is also using ND’s Shipment Handling and Reporting Program, an online system which enables the company to place orders electronically, which are scanned and tracked in real time
