Furniture Village has taken 13 Euro 5 trucks supplied on contact hire by Ryder.
The new trucks are a mix of Euro 5 compliant 7.5 tonne gvw DAF 45.160 EEVs with aerodynamic seven metre Bevan21 bodies, and 6.5 tonne gvw Iveco Ecodaily trucks with Bevan box bodies.
Furniture Village has placed further orders with Ryder for new trucks to be delivered in the early part of the year which will result in more than 80 per cent of its delivery fleet being Euro 5 compliant.
