Door manufacturer Premdor has extended its contract with TDG to provide UK mainland transport for a further two years.
The firm produces doors, windows and cubicles, and moves around 2 million doors across the country each year.
TDG has worked for the firm since 2008, taking full loads from its Barnsley manufacturing site at night, and are taken by road to TDG depots at Mossend, Swindon and Thurrock for cross docking. Loads are then delivered direct to construction sites, builders’ merchants or the end user.
Paul Conway, UK & East European logistics manager at Premdor says: “TDG has implemented some very successful cost-down projects and our transport efficiencies have significantly improved.”
