Great Britain’s national mapping agency, Ordnance Survey, has awarded a four-year contract to Prolog to manage the storage and distribution of its paper map products.
Prolog began operating under the contract in December, at its East Midland’s storage and distribution hub.
Over two and a half million maps are dispatched each year, to shops, information centres and other outlets.
Peter Durnford, Ordnance Survey’s head of print and supply chain, said: “The use of this external service provider helps ensure the sustainability of our paper map products and enables access to new fulfilment technologies.”
