Fashion design and supply company S’Porter has taken on a managed video conferencing service from Dimension Data to help improve efficiencies in its supply chain.
It took the Dimension Data service in order to speed decision-making between buying, merchandising and quality control teams at S’porter’s international offices as well as through its supply chain.
Video is also more suitable for communicating with overseas suppliers, rather than via phone calls and photographs sent by email.
Darryl Innes, systems engineer at S’porter said: “We opted for a managed service that would be easy to use and well supported. For a monthly subscription, Dimension Data has supplied the hardware, set up a directory of contacts and supports our 40 users with a 24/7 helpdesk.”
S’Porter was started by George Davies, who also founded Next, George at Asda and per una @Marks and Spencer.
