The Webb Group has selected Belgravium’s real time mobile computing system to boost visibility and accuracy at its Bradford warehouse.
The system uses Boston 8500 handheld and Monaco 7100 vehicle mounted terminals, in conjunction with the goods in, bulk stores and pick face replenishment operations. Belgravium also installed a range of racking labels and floor tags to work in conjunction with Webb’s WMS.
Mike Hardy, managing director of Webb said: “As part of our commitment to supporting our end users, we continually work towards adapting and improving their systems with respect to management of our distribution operations. We need to ensure 100 per cent accuracy and transparency to ensure we meet all our customers specific requirements.”
Webb supplies retail home entertainment products including games, DVDs, music and gifts to some 2.7 million direct customers and 4,500 retail outlets, including a digital and multi channel e commerce platform.
