By wpengineVolvo trucks has reported a 95 per cent rise in worldwide truck deliveries in January 2011, compared to the same month last year.
The highest increase was in Asia, which took 874 deliveries compared to 304 in 2010. Within Europe Volvo reckon the UK and Germany recorded particularly strong rates.
97 per cent of deliveries were of heavy duty trucks over 16 tonnes.
