Gazeley has purchased a 100-acre site at West Moor Park in Doncaster for an undisclosed sum from Blue Anchor Leisure.
It plans to create a new logistics hub delivering major investment and job creation to the region.
Outline planning permission was granted by Doncaster Metropolotan Borough Council in December 2009 for a 1.5m sq ft of industrial/distribution and incorporated office accommodation over three large warehouses.
When developed, the scheme is expected to create in the region of 1,700 warehousing, office and managerial jobs within the locality. The completed value of the scheme is estimated to reach around £100m.
