Zetes has acquired Anvos, a German manufacturer of labelling machines, to expand its “Print & Apply” service, and to strengthen its presence in the region.
Anvos is currently based in Moers, but will be integrated as a specialised business unit within Zetes’ German organisation.
Print & Apply machines are installed and print barcodes at the beginning of the supply chain. They integrate with ERP systems to identify items via the barcodes. It is one of the first steps in ensuring traceability, from the production stage to the end consumer.
