FedEx and Eddie Stobart have topped their categories in the 2011 Business Superbrand league table.
The league tables are based on the opinions of marketing experts, business professionals and thousands of British consumers.
Eddie Stobart topped the Industrial Transport category for Logistics, Distribution and Freight Services to take 27th place overall – moving up five places from last year’s 32nd placing.
FedEx Express led the B2B Delivery Services category and was 12th in the overall Business Superbrand listing. It was followed by DHL and UPS.

Stobart has benefited from the Channel 5 documentary “Eddie Stobart: Trucks & Trailers”. Chief executive Andrew Tinkler said: “It has been a strong year for the Eddie Stobart brand which has been given a significant boost from the Channel 5 series. It has helped to showcase the business to a whole new audience and our promotional department has seen associated benefits with sales of merchandise reaching record levels. We are extremely proud of our brand which has been built on solid and traditional core business beliefs.”
