Software house Axida has improved the time slotting capability of its HDi home delivery software.
HDi version 5.2 has the ability to allocate timeslots by different retailers and their individual delivery requirements. The aim is to simplify management of complex home delivery patterns where some retailers might want to offer all day time slots and others want to provide deliveries within a two-hour delivery window.
The system enables service providers to support the retailers’ delivery promises without increasing transport costs.
Axida’s Wayne Holgate said: “Version 5.2 will benefit multi-client shared user home delivery service providers enabling them to offer different service level models to suit different clients using their existing resources. This enhances their service and will result in significant increase in customer satisfaction while increasing operational efficiency.”
