SaaS house OmPrompt has launched a proof of delivery system that operates via mobile phone.
The software allows drivers to register delivery information into a web-based interactive voice response system using the keypad on a mobile phone. The driver is prompted by instructions that can be recorded in any language.
The POD system makes real time delivery information available without any further hardware.
John Wakeman, chief executive of OmPrompt said: “OmPrompt’s technology means every LSP can self-manage their POD’s quickly, reliably and with no capital outlay.”
