World Design and Trade, which owns fashion brands Firetrap and Fullcircle, has awarded Wincanton a three-year warehousing contract.
The operation was previously handled in-house and 18 WDT warehouse employees have transferred to Wincanton.
Wincanton will provide end to end management of WDT’s 90,000 sq ft Acton warehouse. Operations include picking, packing, kimballing, samples processing, returns management and storage for men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
Nick Fox, WDT’s logistics and operations director said: “Outsourcing our warehousing to Wincanton will help us be more efficient.”
