Ceva Logistics has appointed two vice presidents to drive sector growth in the UK.
Ian Robb has been named vice president, industrial and technology and Simon Hobbs joins the company as vice president, automotive.
Robb has worked at Ceva for 15 years specialising in the development of two-man home delivery operations for major customers and facilitating major projects in the technology and industrial sectors.
In his new role Robb’s main focus will be to develop a two-man technology network which will provide shared-user warehousing, transport and installation services for manufacturers and retailers across the UK & Ireland.
Hobbs will join Ceva on 3rd May from DHL Supply Chain where he managed the automotive aftermarket sector in the UK.
At Ceva, Hobbs and his team will focus on further developing the company’s position in the aftermarket sector and on establishing relationships with key manufacturers to broaden its position in the pre-production sector.
Hobbs will also manage Ceva’s relationship with universities and the recently launched UK Automotive Forum.
The independent forum is sponsored by Ceva and presented by the Centre for Automotive Management at the University of Buckingham.
