Hughes Electrical has chosen Yodel for delivery of all of its online sales. Products range from small sized personal digital goods to large kitchen appliances.
Yodel will handle 125,000 deliveries each year for Hughes. The retailer is using Yodel’s two-man delivery service for large items. As well as delivering, two Yodel drivers assemble and connect appliances to power and water supplies.
Simon Cox, Hughes Direct’s general manager, said: “We had heard lots of positive things about Yodel so decided to invite them to tender for our business. Throughout our negotiations the management team were nothing but professional. If we needed any reassurance that we had made the right decision a quick look at the list of existing customers gave us all the reassurances we needed.”
