DHL Supply Chain has been chosen as one of Top 50 Employers for Women in a study for “The Times”.
To be considered, businesses were required to build a detailed case as to why they should be recognised as a top employer for women, including two examples of initiatives which demonstrate the work being carried out to create a positive working environment for women.
The entries were assessed on an anonymous basis by a team of experts from Opportunity Now, a membership organisation for employers who are committed to creating an inclusive workplace for women.
DHL’s gender equality initiatives include management development programmes, mentoring schemes, a professional women’s network and a focus on flexible working for all employees. DHL also has a dedicated “Women Returning to Work” programme to support female employees returning from maternity leave.
