Electrical contractor William Dyer has reported eight per cent fuel savings, after installing Trakm8’s SWIFT web portal.
The SWIFT interface gives fleet managers the data and tools to monitor their fleet, including alerts and reports.
Managing director, Bill Dyer, said: “‘With the help of SWIFT we discovered that our working hours from 8am until 5pm meant a lot of our drivers were idling in traffic, we have now changed our hours to 7am until 4pm which has resulted in 30 per cent more productivity and reduced fuel costs by 8 per cent.”
