Circle Express has secured a 35,723 sq ft warehouse at Clayton Road, Hayes close to Heathrow at a rent in the region of £320,000 per year.
It has taken developer Highcross’ Unit 161, to service a contract for DHL. The industrial unit, which has been fully refurbished, includes office space on the ground and first floors and a large secure yard.
Located less than two miles from Junction 3 of the M4 motorway and 2.5 miles from the Heathrow Cargo Centre, Unit 161 is one of two industrial/distribution warehouse units on the 2.5 acre site.
Unit 163, which is available to let, or for sale at a quoting price of £8.95 per sq ft and £97.50 per sq ft freehold, comprises 35,334 sq ft of refurbished space. The unit has a fully fenced secure yard with electric sliding gates and allocated car parking in the scheme’s two-storey car park.
Highcross asset manager, Katie Whell, said: “The unit’s proximity to Heathrow Airport, the M4 and M25, together with the high standard of refurbishment and security, were important factors in attracting Circle Express to the scheme. We anticipate that further interest will now be shown in the remaining unit and are currently discussing a number of options with various parties.”
Agents for Highcross at Hayes are BNP Paribas Real Estate, King Sturge and Colliers International.
