Outline plans for a 880487.87 sq ft rail connected cross dock distribution warehouse in Northamptonshire have been submitted by developer Roxhill and Legal & General Property on behalf of its Industrial Property Investment Fund.
The scheme known as Cor! will be built on the 70 acre former Gefco UK Car Storage Site on Geddington Road in Corby.
It is anticipated that the cross dock warehouse will incorporate approximately 4,000 sq ft of office space as well as providing lorry and car parking, landscaping and supporting infrastructure and will create up to 1000 new jobs.
Included in the scheme are plans for the adaption of the site’s rail terminal for intermodal container movements between trains and the warehouse.
Burbage Realty, CBRE and King Sturge, have been appointed to market the scheme.
