Maersk Line has awarded a multi-million pound contract to Freightliner to provide committed space for the transport of boxes from Felixstowe, and throughout Freightliner’s network.
Freightliner offers 21 daily services to 15 destinations across the UK, providing Maersk with flexible and robust inland forwarding solutions.
The contract provides for the movement of up to 190,000 containers each year by rail, saving over 63,000 tonnes of co2 on equivalent road moves.
