Gefco has appointed of Bertrand De Techtermann automotive director for the UK.
De Techtermann, will report to managing director Alain Vignon, and assume responsibility for the automotive logistics of new and used vehicles across Gefco’s four automotive centres in the UK: Corby, Sandtoft, Sheerness and the recently opened Portbury.
He will oversee pre-delivery inspection operations, technical vehicle enhancements and refurbishments, as well as the storage and transport of these vehicles for customers, including vehicle manufacturers, importers, fleet and rental companies. His appointment is a result of continuing growth in Gefco’s gutomotive operations in the UK.
He joins from Gefco Slovakia, where he held the position of automotive manager where he was responsible for PSA key account management, providing inbound, outbound and logistics solutions.
