Honeywell is now offering the Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 operating system as a common platform for mobile devices including the Dolphin 6100 and 6500 mobile computers.
This will provide more connectivity options, enabling users to capture, access, and act on business-critical information in real-time.
Honeywell says it will continue to support Windows CE 5.0, an architectural platform that includes robust developer tools and a real-time operating system.
