Stowmarket maltster Muntons, has awarded a £15 million, five year contract to DHL.
Under the contract DHL will support movement of over 70,000 tonnes of malt and related ingredients for the food and beverage sector, to some 54 countries.
DHL will be tasked with reducing operating costs, streamlining working capital and enhancing Muntons’ customer service performance.
Muntons supplies customers including independent microbreweries and large multinational food processors. Muntons recently opened offices in Singapore and Seattle, Washington, USA, to support its continued development.
