Parcel service Collect+, reckons its service has boosted business in its partner corner shops, with 38 per cent of Collect+ customers buying additional products.
Collect+ offers returns and deliveries through Yodel from participating shops within the PayPoint network. It found that 39 per cent of its customers were visiting their nominated corner shop for the first time, and 80 per cent said that the service has encouraged them to use the store again.
In return for processing the “sending” labels for each parcel, retailers are gaining additional annual revenue of some £1,300.
