Volvo Trucks’ global deliveries in the first six months of 2011 were 72 per cent higher than in the corresponding period last year.
The manufacturer delivered 23,674 trucks to Europe in this period, an increase of 93 per cent compared to the first six months of 2010.
Truck deliveries to Eastern Europe continued to increase and in the first six months of 2011 they were 170 per cent higher than in the same period in 2010. Developments in Russia and Poland were especially positive.
